Even though the Air Max 97 is almost three-decades-old, colorways like the freshly-revealed Nike Air Max 97 "BETRUE" continue to surprise us. Part of the American sportswear company's annual "BETRUE" collection, which celebrates Pride Month, if you want to show your support or you just want a cool sneaker to add to your daily rotation, this is a pair that you definitely don't want to miss out on, so keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Arriving in a rainbow-inspired colorway, the bottom half of this AM97 boasts a soft orange leather mudguard that wraps around the entirety of the shoe. The top half, on the other hand, is dressed in a soft frilly material that resembles a ballerina's skirt. This is dipped in blue, green, and yellow pastel shades, and is complemented by an exclusive charm bracelet that's attached to the lateral sidewalls. Spelling out "BETRUE," this accessory is exclusive to this Air Max 97, and can be attached and detached conveniently. All of this sits on top of a crisp full length Air midsole, and comes packed in a special edition shoebox.
As you might have already expected, the Nike Air Max 97 BETRUE is set to release sometime in Summer 2023 around Pride Month, and it will be available in men's sizes.
