The astronauts aboard the Artemis II aren’t the only thing splashing down lately. Nike has its own interstellar object streaking onto store shelves with the Air Max 95 Big Bubble Comet. 2026 is still the year of the Air Max 95, with a slew of classic colorways of Sergio Lozano’s sneaker on the horizon even after the wealth of drops that occurred during Air Max Month.

The Air Max 95 Big Bubble Comet is one of the original colorways of the Air Max 95, and this year, it is being revitalized in the big bubble form that stemmed from last year’s 30th anniversary celebration. Now official images of the sneaker have reentered the atmosphere.

Staying true to its original form, the sneaker begins with a white mesh base that cleanly flows into the white leather toe cap. The signature striped overlays come dressed in suede and feature a gradient that shifts from black to white as it moves downward to the pristine white midsole. The silhouette’s signature reflective heel counter adds an eye-catching detail to the runner-turned-lifestyle sneaker.

The low-profile black and white look is elevated by bright red details throughout, including on the eyelets, the embroidered Air Max badge on the tongue, the mini Swoosh found on the lateral side, as well as the Nike Air branding on the heel, and most prominently, inside the resized big bubble Air units. Noticeably, the Air Max 95 Big Bubble Comet forgoes the 25 PSI text found on the original.
