When it comes to designing and creating memorable Valentine's Day sneakers, Nike is world-renowned for it. Over the past few years, the Beaverton-based brand has been releasing some of the best V Day-inspired sneakers that we've ever seen, and 2023 is going to be no different. After checking out the Air Force 1, Air More Uptempo, Air Trainer 1, and Dunk Low, we're now taking our very first look at the Nike Air Max 90 "Valentine's Day." Taking on the Tinker Hatfield classic, this has got to be one of our favorite pairs yet.
While other Valentine's Day-themed colorways like to make things quite obvious with heart graphics and the word "Love" pasted throughout, this Air Max 90 takes a more subtle approach which we can't help but adore. Working on top of a white mesh base, pink and fuchsia suede panels make their way throughout for a premium look and feel. The Swoosh is decked out in a fiery red hue, while pale yellow tones adorn the lacing system and rubber heel badge for another splash of color that is sure to turn heads this season. All of this sits on top of a crisp sail midsole which rounds everything off nicely.
Expected to release around Valentine's Day in February 2023, the Nike Air Max 90 Valentine's Day W will be a women's exclusive and will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store locations worldwide, with retail yet TBA.
