From Christmas to Halloween, Nike is the master of creating themed sneakers. Over the past few years, the Beaverton-based sportswear giant has unleashed some of the hottest colorways that are inspired by events and festivals, and for 2023, they'll be taking on Valentine's Day with the aptly-named Nike Air Trainer 1 "Valentine's Day."
While this certainly isn't the Oregon footwear brand's first V Day-influenced pair, it's definitely up there amongst the greatest. Working on top of Tinker Hatfield's legendary cross training silhouette, the Air Trainer 1 works on top of a coconut milk leather base while hairy dark pony suede wraps around the rest of the upper. A rugged strap is fastened across the vamp for the ultimate lockdown fit, and the top eyelets are Swoosh are both dipped in medium soft pink accents. We don't specifically know how, but this Trainer 1 is giving us serious Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 "Light Chocolate" vibes, so if you didn't manage to get a W then this is the perfect alternative.
The Nike Air Trainer 1 Valentine's Day is set to release on February 7th, 2023. Dropping in men's sizes at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store locations worldwide, retail is set at $130.
