Official Images Surface of the Upcoming Air Max 90 Neon

Few colorways in the Nike archive are more iconic than the Air Max 95 Neon. Like the Bred Jordan 1, triple-white Air Force 1, or Air Max 90 Infrared, the Air Max 95 Neon is one of the OGs of the sneaker space, carrying the kind of cache that will always find a place in collectors’ closets and retro catalogs. Beyond one-to-one remakes and inverted colorways, those original pairs are often used as reference on a wide range of silhouettes. The latest Neon colorway is making its way to the Air Max 90, and to no surprise, the color blocking still holds up.

The Nike Air Max 90 Neon is a clear copycat of the OG Air Max 95, starting with a base of light grey suede and mesh, adding dark grey and black to the bottom half of the shoe. Striking neon green accents jump out on the side panel Swoosh, Nike Air heel logo, tongue tag branding, and the Air Max unit in the heel.

Nike has already given the Air Max 90 a Neon remake in the past, with British artist Dave White and UK retailer size? teaming up in 2005 for a slightly different Neon 90 colorway. Now, more than 20 years later, we’ve all got a shot at the Frankensteined Air Max mash-up.
