PublishedQuick Facts

- A drop will take place on March 5, 2026 to kickstart Air Max Month

Sergio Lozano’s initial sketches for the Nike Air Max 95 included the now-iconic Neon colorway. For over 30 years, the colorway and the sneaker have become a foundational piece of Nike lore, with many silhouettes borrowing the greyscale and neon-accented colorway, from the Air Jordan 4 to soccer cleats and more. For those who missed out on the men’s-only re-release last year, Nike is planning on dropping the Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Neon in full-family sizing.
The original colorway of the AM 95 features a felt suede and mesh construction, with the human anatomy-inspired design coated in greyscale hues. The “muscles” of the upper come in a grey gradient transitioning from lighter hues up-top down to a dark black as you work toward the midsole. Pops of neon green appear on the nylon lace loops, Air Max branding on the tongue, Swoosh on the collar and inside the Air units.
White mesh on the tongue clashes with the metallic silver reflective tongue overlay and black mesh underlay, while the sockliner and insole come in white and neon, respectively. Finishing the sneaker is the black foam midsole with “big bubble” tooling and the rubber outsole, which features PSI reading in the heel.
Last year marked the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, and Nike made the model one of its main focuses. Alongside the restock of the Neon 95s, many Air Max 95 releases used the updated “big bubble” tooling, which increased the size of the Air unit in the heel to closely resemble the one found on original AM 95s.

Plenty of other fan favorites returned, like the Black Border, Solar Red, Blue Spark, Pink Foam, Bright Mandarin, and even a release of an unreleased sketch colorway, the Reverse Neon. Collabs included a pack of region-exclusive colorways from Undefeated, a Yu-Gi-Oh! Collection, Liverpool FC’s own colorway, and a new Corteiz drop.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Neon will be released March 5, 2026, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Retail is set at $190 (adult), $147 (GS), $112 (PS), and $82 (TD). With full-family sizing confirmed, the colorway will be more available compared to last year’s release, but demand will still be high, so don’t expect an easy cop.
