Air Max Day is Nike’s annual celebration of all things Air, crafting the brand’s own version of a Hallmark holiday to refocus attention on the running-turned-lifestyle line that’s helped carry Nike since the ‘80s. This year, Beaverton is bringing back a classic in the Air Max 90 Infrared, with a few hits of incognito shine.

The Nike Air Max 90 Infrared 3M is the latest iteration of the OG AM 90 colorway, but this time around, Nike trades the traditional mesh paneling on the toebox and ankle collar for a clean white leather with a 3M reflective coating that looks normal in the sun, and shines bright after the lights go out.

Nike kept things traditional on the rest of the retro, adding premium accents with hairy grey suede to the toe and side panels with soft black leather beneath it. The instantly recognizable hits of Infrared pop on the lace panel, tongue tag, heel, and side panel branding, and the wrap around the Air bubble on the midsole.
