Air Max heads had a fantastic 2022 and so far have had an incredible 2023 as Nike has brought forth a variety of Air Max 1 releases. Aside from the upcoming reworked versions of classic colorways like the Chili-inspired “White Black Red,” a slew of “Big Bubble” Air Max 1s are headed our way. Coming in a similar color palette to the upcoming “Smokey Mauve,” the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG has appeared in “Smokey Mauve Dark Team Red.”
On top of its vintage-inspired design, this iteration features a mix of smokey mauve, dark team red, grey , and creamy vintage hues throughout the design. The dark team red suede mudguard and Swoosh take center stage, while the grey mesh layer on the toebox and collar offer a subtle contrast. Smokey Mauve accents on the suede vamp, midfoot panel, and heel, as well as on the tongue, TPU eyelets, and sockliner. The vintage-colored Air Max 1 midsole with the bigger Air bubble and dark team red rubber outsole completes the design.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Smokey Mauve Dark Team Red will be released in 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
