Nike continues to evolve the classic Air Force 1 well past its original design that first hit the scene in 1982. We’ve seen versions, like the AF1 Wild, that equip the sneaker with outdoor-ready materials and an even more comfortable option (compared to a regular AF1), the Nike Air Force 1 React. Continuing to add to its lineup, this React cushion-laded version of the AF1 has just appeared in “White Light Photo Blue Deep Royal Blue.”
This latest iteration of the Air Force 1 React keeps its deconstructed and upgraded design with leather overlays on the mudguard, toebox, and eyestays. The toebox sits above the mudguard, while the midfoot and heel portions come in a semi-translucent TPU material. Royal Blue accents hit the internal heel counter, while a pull tab on the heel features a dot pattern and sits above the Nike Air embroidery in black. For its Swoosh branding along the midfoot, the logo runs back and stops midway along the lateral side, trimmed with a black TPU film along the way. Nike React is visible on the medial side, with the heel portion of the sole unit coming in a semi-translucent rubber. The standard white AF1 midsole is present from the midfoot to the toe, with a rubber outsole below to complete the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 React White Light Photo Blue Deep Royal Blue will be released in Fall 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
