Nike’s iconic Air Force 1 design dates back over 40 years now and has seen plenty of remixes over this time. For its latest rendition, Nike brings the basketball-turned-lifestyle model to the great outdoors with the women’s exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Wild.
Offering a fresh take on the iconic Air Force 1, the model features a different sole unit ready to tackle the trails. This “Wild” iteration boasts a canvas base layer with suede overlays, giving it a durable and stylish look. An added internal heel counter provides extra support, while the redesigned tongue and lace set offers a comfortable fit. The Swoosh seems to be nodding to archival Nike ACG models as colorways fit into the ACG color palette. Not to mention the shoe itself is a much more practical take on the humble AF1. So far, there are five colorways headed our way, including “Wheat Gold Rugged Orange,” “Black Velvet Brown,” “Phantom,” “Rugged Orange,” and “Fir.”
The Nike Air Force 1 Wild W will be released during Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers. The “Wheat Gold Rugged Orange” and "Black Velvet Brown" colorways will be the first to release and be available on October 3, 2023. Other colorways will release one month later, on November 2, 2023. Releasing exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
