Bruce Kilgore's Air Force 1 Low has seen many makeovers and color schemes over its 40-plus-year history. This includes changes to the sneaker's material makeup that traditionally comes out of leather. Alongside the recently revealed Tassels and Broque colorways, and similar to the Dunk Low Heat Wave, Nike has crafted a new textile-based edition with woven details.
For Summer 2024, the Woven Together edition brings a fresh perspective to the Air Force 1's classic structure. The upper is adorned with a distinctive diamond woven pattern, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. The mudguard, eyestays, and heel opt for a clean white finish, serving as a canvas for the vibrant pink and purple diamonds that adorn the textile.
This colorful weave extends across the toe and midfoot, with the white diamonds punctuating the vivid background. Blue accents thread through the white laces, coming in the same shade as the Nike branding placed atop the tongue. A departure from the textile upper, the sail Swoosh and heel tab introduce a subtle contrast, echoing the shoe's midsole and outsole color scheme.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Woven Together W is set to release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $135. For the latest in sneaker releases, raffles, and streetwear news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
