A Two-Tone Build Comes To The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Obsidian Sail

The Nike Air Force 1 Low is a true classic that's been around for decades. The iconic Bruce Kilgore-designed silhouette has been reimagined repeatedly, with new materials and colorways that keep sneakerheads returning for more. Adding to its selection of more premium renditions, alongside the recently revealed LX “Oil Green” and “Burgundy Crush,” Nike is dressing its Air Force 1 Low LX in a combo of “Obsidian Sail.”
Featuring more premium materials compared to a standard AF1, the upper features hits of suede on the toebox and quarter panel. Tumbled leather in an obsidian shade takes over the mudguard, eyestays, Swoosh, and heel overlay. The tongue also sports this obsidian shade, with tonal hits of this hue also found on the lace set. A 3D Nike Swoosh-laden tag in white and red accents this monochromatic build, though we do see a hit of sail on the tumbled leather heel tab. Underfoot, a partially recycled sail AF1 midsole and outsole complete the design.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Obsidian Sail W is set to release on August 17, 2023 through Nike and select NBHD retailers, with a retail price of $130.
