In recent memory, we have seen an influx of higher quality AF1s like the upcoming LX Burgundy Crush, though we have more monochromatic renditions headed our way. For its latest version of this higher-quality AF1, Nike dresses the model in Oil Green.
Like the Nike Dunk Low Premium Oil Green Olive Aura, the Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Oil Green brings tonal green shades to a more premium version of the iconic Bruce Kilgore-designed model. High-quality nubuck on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays gives the shoe a luxurious feel, while canvas takes over the quarter panel and toebox. The Nike Swoosh is also made of nubuck, giving it a subtle texture that complements the rest of the sneaker. The entire sneaker is dressed in a monochromatic oil green that gives it a clean and sleek look. Underfoot sits an oil green midsole and outsole with dark green accent stitching.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low LX Oil Green is set to release on December 30, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
