A homage to the hoop.
In its 40 year history, the Air Force 1 has successfully infiltrated multiple fashion genres, style tribes, and subcultures, but at its core the Bruce Kilgore creation was made for the basketball court. To pay tribute to this, the Oregon sportswear giant has unveiled the Nike Air Force 1 Low Hoops "Grey Green." While it may looks extremely clean and simple from a distance, upon closer inspection you'll find a ton of details that you've probably never seen on a sneaker before.
Boasting a full leather construction which nods to the original AF1 design, this pair works on top of a white base while neutral grey panels wrap around the rest of the upper for a subtle yet striking contrast. A bold malachite green Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sides, and speaking of which, the paneling here has been done up in a intricate three-dimensional pattern that just pops. Featuring the Nike logo as well as a series of basketballs, we've never seen an Air Force 1 quite like this.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Hoops Grey Green is scheduled to release in 2022 in men's sizes with a retail price TBA. Set to drop at Nike and select retailers online and in-store worldwide, you definitely don't want to miss these.
