LSU, TCU, FSU, and Ohio State Get Their Own Nike Air Foamposite Pros in 2026

College football is in full swing, but we’re finally getting some hoops action in the NCAA circuit. The 2025-26 season officially tipped off on Monday, so we’ll start to get some highlight reels featuring the next generation of NBA talent in the coming days, weeks, and months ahead. College hoops are also a great place to showcase sneakers for brands, especially with the advent of NIL deals. However, before we can get our hands on JuJu Watkins’ upcoming Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo PE, Sole Retriever can report that Nike is planning on honoring four different NCAA programs in 2026 with a pack of Nike Air Foamposite Pro colorways.
As of this writing, there are no images of the upcoming NCAA Nike Air Foamposite Pro pack, but we do know the four schools and the colors that will be used. Included are LSU, TCU, FSU, and Ohio State, with each respective school having a two-tone color scheme on the Foamposite Pro. Based on the color code, we created speculative mock-ups that show what the pairs could look like. Expect LSU, TCU, and FSU to have their primary shade used on the Foamposite material, while the Ohio State pair opts for a white base accented by the school's iconic red hue.
Two years shy of its 30th birthday, 2026 will feature a wide revival of the Foamposite Pro silhouette, an offshoot of the Air Foamposite One. Where the Foamposite One features Penny Hardaway One Cent logos, the Pro variant forgoes references to the NBA star. There’s also the use of a large Swoosh on the midfoot, a feature that is not found on the Foamposite One. Outside of these aesthetic changes, the sneaker’s tooling and construction are identical. Obviously today we’ve made vast improvements in on-court tech, but the design language of the Foamposite still endures off-the-court. It’s also helped inspire new products, like the upcoming GT Future and the Vaporposite football cleat.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro NCAA Pack will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think Nike would also team up with the schools to do a special release on and around the respective campuses, but we’ll have to wait and see next year.
