When Deion Sanders rejoined Nike in 2023, many fans and sneakerheads were looking forward to what the Swoosh would bring out of the vault for Prime Time. Lucky for us, the Nike Air DT Max 96 made a well-received comeback in February 2024. The original Black Varsity Maize pair returned, with original Diamond Turf branding and new Prime detailing representing Deion's Prime label. Following up on this pair is a set of Colorado Buffaloes-inspired colorways, Home and Away editions.
Let's look at the Home iteration after seeing the Away pair. Made to match the University of Colorado's home uniforms, the Nike Air DT Max 96 Colorado Home comes in black, Vegas Gold, and white. This pair sports a black-based nubuck upper, highlighted by Vegas Gold accents. Small hits of white come via the visible Max Air unit in the heel. An all-black solid rubber outsole is rounding things out for this Nike Air DT Max 96.
The Nike Air DT Max 96 Colorado Home is set to release on September 16, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, retail is set at $170.
