Andre Agassi’s Nike Air Alarm Returns in 2027 for its First Retro Rally

Andre Agassi might be Nike’s most underrated signature star. Best known in sneaker circles for the Air Tech Challenge and its beloved sequel, Agassi was known as tennis’ freshest superstar on and off the court. In 1995, Agassi rocked the Nike Air Alarm, but unlike the Air Tech Challenge, the Alarm bells haven’t rung for a retro revival…until now.

Sound the Alarm

Next year, the Nike Air Alarm is getting its first return service in The Swoosh lineup since its debut in 1995, bringing the retro silhouette back after more than 30 years in the archive. Bringing some ‘90s basketball shoe energy to the tennis court, the Air Alarm features a high-top construction with a cushioned ankle collar and rippling lines climbing vertically across the side panels.

The Nike Air Alarm retro hasn’t surfaced in official images yet, but with clear looks at pairs and ads from ‘95, we’ve got a pretty good look at what the retro will look like. The most iconic Air Alarm pair features a white upper base with black support lines stretching up to the green tongue and ankle collar.
