The Nike ACG team has been climbing a steep hill, but that hasn’t slowed their pursuit of the peak. Amidst a sneaker industry awash in trail running and outdoor obsessives, Nike’s All Conditions Gear line has undergone its own refresh, with light, airy gear, ambitious activations, and thick-soled running designs reimagined for off-roading.
Pickle Power
The Nike ACG Picklejus is the latest silhouette from the outdoor label, mixing a massive Swoosh-branded midsole with thin, protective trail-tuned Flyknit on the upper, and a brand-new GOATEK outsole. Staying true to its pickle name, the debut colorway arrives in a bright shade of neon pickle green, with ACG branding in black and orange on the lace tips. Made for mountain running, the Picklejus is tougher than its name,
“Developed through athlete insight, biomechanical research, robust laboratory testing, and real-world mountain validation, Picklejus is ACG’s pinnacle expression of big mountain running innovation: a complete performance system designed to help athletes move farther, faster, and with greater confidence through the most rugged and demanding mountain environments,” the ACG team wrote.
Inside, the silhouette features a soft ZoomX foam core that is surrounded by a firmer stability ring to provide a plate-like effect for support. That dual-foam setup gives a more natural and comfortable transition when running while also being durable enough to withstand rugged trail conditions found in mountain terrain.
