All Aboard: Nike is Taking a Custom-Painted ACG Train Through Italy to the Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics kick off in Italy today, and Nike is already on the road to the medal stand, chugging through the Boot on a custom-painted orange train nicknamed the All Conditions Express. Commissioned to carry athletes and onlookers from Milan deep into the snow-capped mountains of the Orobic Alps, the four-day train ride is a perfect way to reintroduce Nike’s retooled ACG line to the world.

Painted in ACG’s newly minted orange tone, the massive train is packed with ACG accents, from custom seating and seeding kits to local food in the dining car, and a gear car packed with a laboratory of info on the tech behind the latest ACG gear, highlighting the Lava Loft jacket and the Ultrafly trail running shoe.

Beyond the train trip, Nike’s ACG resurgence has coincided perfectly with the Winter Olympics, including eagle-clad team gear for the USA Team and seeding kits for Nike athletes packed with an exclusive pair of ACG collab Hyperice Normatec recovery leg sleeves in the same shade of orange. The Olympics are all about the colors of local flags, but for Nike, the ACG orange is a shade that spans the globe.
