A’ja Wilson ended the WNBA season with as much hardware as humanly possible and even more accolades to back up her standing in the GOAT argument, but the women’s college basketball season is just getting started, and the Georgia Bulldogs are trying to channel some of that winning energy with a new pair of Nike A’One PEs.
Announced in an Instagram post from the UGA women’s basketball team, the Georgia A’One PE is a perfect match for the Bulldogs’ home whites, with a crisp tonal white upper and bright red hits on the A’ja tongue and heel logos, side panel Swoosh, and TPU stabilization ring on the midsole. The colorway is so icy that Wilson had to comment on the pair, reposting the announcement to her IG story, adding “that red Swoosh & ring too clean.”
The NCAA season kicks off this week, and teams across the country have been taking to social media to flex new PEs from their shoe sponsors. In addition to the team-color A’One, the Georgia women’s team joined Duke with their own set of Kobes for the whole squad.
Unless you have been doing two-a-days with the Georgia women’s hoops team this Fall, this colorway of the A’One won’t make it to your closet, but that’s okay, Wilson still has plenty of in-line colorways to cop before your next rec league game.
