NIGO has never been one to follow the pack. So while his BAPE sneaker lines were always a clear nod to silhouettes like the Air Force 1, Superstar, and more, his work alongside major brands like Nike has always taken a less traditional path. Most notably, he’s embraced the oft-forgotten Air Force 3 over his multiple collaborations with the sportswear giant. Now, the fashion icon is back with another unique take on the less-heralded Air Force model, bringing traditional Japanese pottery technique to the AF3.
The NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Kintsugi Pack is inspired by its namesake, Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with a mix of lacquer and gold, silver, or other precious metals. The result is a pattern that highlights the object's imperfect history with an even more valuable result than in its original form. NIGO’s Kintsugi Pack features two pairs of Air Force 3s, both split directly down the middle just above the second lace loop, with a layer of gold filling the space between the two sides, just like a piece of Kintsugi pottery.

The first color starts with a ceramic-style mix of brown, black, and grey on one side and grey on the other, with the pottery pattern on the top half of the right shoe and bottom half of the left shoe to create a mismatched pair. The second pair keeps the same mismatched theme, this time using a reddish, almost terracotta-style pottery pattern, with more gold separating the color switch.
The NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Kintsugi Pack will be released November 15, 2025 exclusively through Human Made and Dover Street Market, with a global release to follow on November 20, 2025. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. For all the latest news from NIGO’s sneaker collabs, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
