Levi’s and NIGO Join Forces for Nike Air Force 3 Collection

When it was announced that NIGO would leave his long-standing partners at adidas to become a Nike collaborator, we were all left wondering what silhouettes he would get his hands on. His output with The Three Stripes (granted, it was decades long) spanned dozens of models, but so far with Nike? Just one. The Nike Air Force 3. Not what you may have expected considering the sneaker never really took off and has been in the vault for years. Now, after dropping six different colorways–more if you count the OGIN versions with reverse NIGO branding–the godfather of Japanese streetwear will be dropping an Air Force 3 project with Levi’s.
Sole Retriever previously reported on a new NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 collection due out in the Summer 2025 season, though the season has passed, and we’re fast approaching the Holiday 2025 window (which starts October 1). The collection turns out to be this upcoming project with Levi’s, which features two colorways of the Air Force 3 coated in denim paneling.
One pair features brown and dark navy denim, while the other opts for a lighter washed denim mixed with olive and suede overlays. Pictured are the “OGIN” versions of the AF3, which are Japanese-exclusive versions of the sneaker. Inside sits a custom Levi’s for NIGO design on the insole, depicting an old-school cowboy you might find in vintage Levi’s ads holding a sign and wearing the AF3. Like his previous releases, NIGO makes sure the packaging is top-notch, adding a custom Nike and Air Force 3 design alongside faux denim print on the cardboard. Final details include the Air Force branding on the tongue and the golden lace dubrae, Levi’s tags on the medial collar, and tonal midsoles and outsoles.
Levi’s has previously worked with Nike and Jordan Brand on footwear projects, with the denim maker recently launching a Nike Air Max 95 collaboration in honor of the sneaker’s 30th anniversary back in July. They last worked with Jordan Brand on a set of Air Jordan 4s, but are expected to release a new Air Jordan 3 collab early next year.
The Levi’s x NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Collection will be released during the Fall 2025 season through Nike, Human Made, Levi’s, and select retailers online and in-store.
