The New Balance Flat Breeze is the latest addition to the NB catalog and the latest low-profile ballet flat to hit the sportswear market. Joining open-top pairs of Nike Shox, Puma Speedcats, and adidas Taekwando, the New Balance Flat Breeze fits perfectly into the trend, mixing the brand’s signature athletic upper paneling with a classic ballet flat.

Launching first in Korea, the New Balance Flat Breeze debuted this week in two colorways, Black and Red. Both colorways feature a slim design with a toebox reminiscent of the 990 or 2002R, and a cut-out top panel behind it. A thin stretchy strap and a one-loop lace are added in the middle of the flat for a bit of lockdown and added style.

The New Balance Flat Breeze was released April 28, 2026 in Korea through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. So far, we haven’t seen the silhouette on the schedule stateside, but we expect more news on the US debut soon. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at 139,000원 (approx $90).
