New Balance Releases Two New Coco Gauff Tennis Sneakers Ahead of Wimbledon

New Balance scooped up one of the brightest and youngest stars in tennis, Coco Gauff. Only 21 years old, she’s been ranked as high as #2 in women’s singles, was the youngest to reach a Grand Slam final when she was 18 at the French Open, and holds the record for most WTA 1000 wins before turning 21. On top of these accomplishments, she has multiple signature sneakers with the Boston-based footwear brand, the CG2, and the Coco Delray, which are undergoing makeovers perfect for Wimbledon.

Ahead of the tournament and the launch of her upcoming Miu Miu x New Balance capsule, the CG2 and Coco Delray come in clean white-based color schemes with green accents. Both pairs perfectly match the aesthetic and color palette of the English tennis event. Starting with the premier CG2, the silhouette is coated in white mesh, diamond-shaped NDure reinforcements, and leather. Meanwhile, the Delray, named after the city where Coco grew up, features just leather and mesh.

Both pairs add hits of green to the Coco Gauff and New Balance logos on the tongue and insole, though the CG2 brings this vibrant hue to the midfoot N logo. Underfoot, the tooling setup is nearly identical for the mid-cut and low-top silhouettes, containing FuelCell foam. The CG2 gets an Energy Arc carbon fiber plate for added stability, while the Delray features a nylon plate instead. The gum outsole on the Delray and the tonal white rubber on the CG2 complete each design.

The New Balance Coco CG2 and Coco Delray Wimbledon are available now through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is $160 for the CG2 and $100 for the Coco Delray.
