New Balance is adding a new chapter to its 991 series. No, we’re not talking about the New Balance 991v2, but a brand-new Made in UK 991 that features premium “Off-White” leather. This pair will launch alongside the “Washed Grey” colorway of the 991 and follow up on the “Sequoia” colorway from early in August.
This iteration of the New Balance 991 comes dressed in a tonal off-white color scheme, constructed using only the finest, high-quality leather that offers a raw edge on every panel. Coordinated colors on the stitching and laces augment the seamless aesthetic, creating a harmonious and sophisticated appearance. Branding is subtly incorporated; the New Balance 991 embroidery graces the tongue while “991” hits the heel. The signature "N" logos are prominently displayed on the midfoot and tongue. An ABZORB-cushioned midsole in the same off-white hue is complemented by a rubber outsole that matches the upper.
The New Balance 991 Made in UK Off-White will release September 7, 2023, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
