More spot-on colorways in New Balance’s Made in USA line, spearheaded by Teddy Santis.
With all of New Balance’s Made in USA 99X series for 2022 teased by Teddy Santis in the early parts of the year, we were given a preview of what the ALD founder had in store for the premium line. About once a month, the Boston-based company finds time to release a set of colorways from the collection with the next pair finally revealed being the New Balance 990v3 Made in USA By Teddy Santis “Green Yellow.”
Premium pigskin suede in both hairy and short-haired form takes over the green-shaded overlays while the base mesh layer comes in a complimentary green hue as well. The hairier of the two suedes appears on the mudguard and heel while the other set of the material makes its way to the toebox, midfoot, and collar, accented by a bright yellow “N” logo. Cream shades find their home on the sockliner, lace set, and bottom half of the tongue, although black and red shades make up the “New Balance USA” branding on the top half. Back on the heel, shades of black can be found with a red “NB” logo stamped between the aforementioned green suede heel overlay. Underfoot, the colorway is finished off via the cream and grey shaded Abzorb cushioned midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 990v3 Made in USA By Teddy Santis Green Yellow is set to release in 2022 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app for more updates regarding the latest in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
