Another clean New Balance 550 is set to restock, this time in White.
For New Balance, their revival of the 550 silhouette has helped expose the brand to a new generation of sneakerheads and make the “dad shoe” brand become popular once again. While we’re set to get our first inline colorways, such as White Black Grey, of the model's high-top cousin, the New Balance 650, NB is also planning on restocking some of the low-top renditions most clean and versatile colorways. Returning alongside a "White Black" variant is the simple "White Grey" colorway.
Taking on an all-white appearance across its leather construction, black accents do make a small appearance via branding details on the tongue and back on the heel. Perforated leather details can be found on the toebox and along the overlay that acts as the bottommost eyestay, while the rest of the panels get a smooth finish with white stitching details blending in nicely. Along the midfoot, the “N” logo keeps this colorless theme strong as do the lace set and tongue nearby. Another contrasting hit of black does make its way onto the model, though this is found on the insole with a white “NB” graphic stamped atop. Completing the design of the upper is a white mesh collar while the entire sneaker gets rounded out by a white midsole and two-tone white and grey rubber outsole.
The New Balance 550 White Grey is set to restock on September 15th, 2022 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
