There's no doubt in any sneakerhead's mind that hype surrounding the 550 has officially reached an all-time high. First introduced all the way back in the '80s, the iconic basketball model was brought back in 2020, and little did anyone know that it would be as popular as it is now. While we've seen some pretty crazy colorways over the past few months, such as the size? x New Balance 550 Collection, the Boston-based brand is now going back to basics with the New Balance 550 "White Pink Sand."
As simple as it gets, this 550 is outfitted in white leather panels throughout with perforated detailing hitting the laterals and medials for that retro look that we all know and love. "550" branding makes it way around the bottom two eyelets, while the legendary "N" logo is finely inlaid and highlighted in a pink sand outline. This pastel palette then extends towards the suede paneling on the front and back, with additional accents making their way to the midsole underfoot.
Clean and pristine, the New Balance 550 White Pink Sand W will arrive exclusively in women's sizes on October 19th, 2022. Retail is set at $110, and it'll be available via New Balance and select retailers worldwide very soon.
