The ever-classic New Balance 550 silhouette is no stranger to makeovers. Most recently, New Balance has taken the silhouette into the vintage realm with the “Terracotta,” “Vintage Green,” and “Brick Red” colorways. Now, a “Dusty Blue” iteration will join the slate.
This latest rendition of the New Balance 550 sees a primarily white color scheme include vintage indigo accents. The upper mostly features white leather, with grey suede overlays on the mudguard and collar. The shoe then transitions into vintage indigo mesh on the heel, sockliner, and collar. Additional indigo highlights are found in the piping of the "N" logo, the "NB" logo on the heel, branding atop the tongue, and the "550" text near the vamp. The shoe maintains a clean finish with a white New Balance-branded midsole, complemented by a vintage indigo outsole.
The New Balance 550 Dusty Blue will release June 21 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
