A brand synonymous with high-quality footwear for over a century, New Balance has only recently joined the world of “hype” sneaker releases. On top of its loyal fanbase across the globe, New Balance continues to create a buzz with newer models like the 550 and, more recently, the 1906R. After reviving the silhouette and tacking on the 860v2’s midsole, a series of colorways hit shelves, with the latest joining the recently seen “Overdyed Pack.”
Like other models in this pack, the New Balance 1906R "Sapphire Blue" has a deep, vibrant shade on its mesh base with accenting hits featured on the overlays. This combo of suede and mesh provides both durability and breathability, while the TPU heel counter only adds to this. Further details include the triangular-shaped overlays across the upper and NB branding in the form of the signature “N” logo and various “NB” logos around the model. Rounding out the look is the 860v2 midsole in a creamy hue paired with an aged black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 1906R Blue Sapphire will be released in 2023, at New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, The retail price for this sneaker will be $150.
