Miu Miu’s New Balance collection has been one of the more low-key partnerships between a luxury fashion house and a household sportswear brand, but that might have something to do with the high-fashion price tags on recent 530 collabs. No matter how restrictive the price, though, Miu Miu’s low-profile take on New Balance’s classic leather and mesh silhouettes has been a standout in the crossover fashion world, and the brand’s latest link-up is no different.
Miu Miu Keeps its Balance
Hitting the runway in Paris at the Miu Miu womenswear show, the Miu Miu x New Balance RC150 picks up where the brands left off on the recent 530 SL Mary Jane collection, keeping a low-profile look with premium materials and fashion-forward details throughout. In the runway previews, Miu Miu has teased three two-tone colorways of the archival silhouette, which originally released in the late ‘90s: blue and white, yellow and blue, and yellow and green.
