Minted New York Previews its Upcoming Saucony Collab with Animated Campaign

The niche running side of the streetwear industry is putting in work right now. As we get set for a drop of West Coast speed demons, Renegade's first collab with Nike Running, the East Coast is getting its own performance running partnership, with performance running label Minted NY teaming up with Saucony on a new Endorphin Pro 5 collab.

The Minted NY x Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 was previewed by Minted on social media this week with an animated video starring mad scientist Dr. Deminted, who hit the laboratory to whip up a running shoe worthy of the hype running brand. The only shoes in the video are an animated pair toe tapping on the purple doc’s feet, but if that image is to be trusted, the pair might be shiny and silver.

Minted NY has been tied to the Endorphin Pro 5 since the silhouette debuted, helping Saucony put together a campaign for a black and green pair of the performance runner. If you consider that campaign a taste of what’s to come, we’re more than hyped to see how the upcoming Minted collab ends up.

The Minted NY x Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 teaser video features a title card at the end with the line “Status: Pending Approval - May 16th,” so that’s our best bet for a release date.
