Pokémon fans have been blessed all year long with celebrations for the pocket monsters’ 30th birthday spanning multiple industries. We’ve seen plenty of footwear collabs from the likes of adidas, Puma, and Crocs, as well as Pokémon versions of speakers and cameras, but everyone’s been waiting for the latest McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meal. Leaks from the end of September originally had the new Happy Meal collab launching in September, but we now have concrete info and a first look at the Pokémon trading cards that will be featured.
McDonald’s x Pokémon Happy Meal Cards and Collectibles
Leaked photos from a McDonald’s franchise show the collectible items that will be included in this new McDonald’s x Pokémon Happy Meal collab. In total, 15 different miniature Happy Meal box toys are being offered, each showcasing a different Pokémon character. They include Pikachu, Weedle, Torchic, Sobble, Umbreon, Espurr, Bulbasaur, Eevee, Munchlax, Minccino, Sprigatito, Charmander, Piplup, Rowlet, and Squirtle. There are also Pokémon-themed apple slice packages with Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Eevee.
But what most have been looking forward to are the included trading cards. The leaked image only showcases two cards in the corner, but it states that “Two trading cards are included with every toy.” The two cards we can see are of Metagross and Hawlucha, but we expect to see even more variants included in the Happy Meal promotion.
When is the McDonald’s x Pokémon Happy Meal Releasing?
The McDonald’s x Pokémon Happy Meal collection is expected to release at McDonald’s nationwide starting November 10, 2026. The promotion runs until December 14, but expect collectors to go all out and secure as many as possible, meaning it’ll likely sell out quickly.
