McDonald’s and Nike are Dropping the Mickey D’s Book 2 Early in Sedona, Arizona

Devin Booker, Nike, and McDonald’s are serving up a fresh pair this week, dropping the new turquoise Mickey D’s collab Nike Book 2 at the Sedona, Arizona fast food location that inspired the colorway. And if you’re to believe the comments on Instagram, there are already people gassing up the tank and heading to the turquoise city to line up.

The McDonald’s x Nike Book 2 Sedona McDonald’s takes inspiration from the Arizona city’s government-mandated color palette that prevents Mickey D’s from using its famous gold and red color scheme. The only McDonald’s location in the country with turquoise branding, the iconic location inspired two pairs of Book 2s, the retail version in sand tan with turquoise accents, and a friends and framily pair in monochrome turquoise.

After giving Booker fans a chance to secure a pair of the friends and family colorway through the McDonald’s App, the wide-release pair is getting an early drop alongside Happy Meals and Big Macs. Arriving at the McDonald’s location itself, this might be the first sneaker line-up we’ve seen at a fast food restaurant. At least you can cop some fries while you wait.

Nike Book 2 Sedona McDonald's Early Release Details

The Nike Book 2 Sedona McDonald's will be released Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Sedona, Arizona McDonald’s location ahead of a June 2, 2026 wide release through Nike and select retailers in-store and online.
