Mattias Gollin’s Latest Vans Authentic Collab adds a Tattered Red Checkerboard with Beaded Accents

At this point, it's safe to say that Vans is having its best year in recent memory. From the endless Pearlized Pack to another rowdy line for a Satoshi x Vans collab drop over the weekend, the SoCal skate shoe originators are leading the charge into a new era of flashy, accessorized hype.

Artist Mattias Gollin has been a huge factor in the Vans revival, kicking off the bejeweled design theme with his custom-made beaded Authentic collabs. For his latest drop, Gollin is bringing Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern back to his catalog, with a red and white colorway covered in distressed canvas and gems stamped in matching colors randomly across the upper.

Starting with a weathered white vulcanized sole with a red foxing stripe, the colorway keeps the two-tone theme going with an all-over print red and white checkerboard canvas upper. Red, white, and silver beads mingle with tears in the upper, and a Mattias Gollin-branded tongue tag in white with black lettering and co-branded details on the insole.

The Mattias Gollin x Vans Slip-On Stella Pack will be released on October 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM CEST (10:00 AM EDT) via Mattias’ website. Retail has not been announced, but his previous projects have garnered luxury pricing upwards of $600, so expect something similar.
