The cryptocurrency boom is past its peak, but the enigmatic creator of Bitcoin is still getting recognition in the streetwear world. Though having no known connection to the actual Satoshi Nakamoto, the eponymous brand has burst into the sneaker collaboration game with its Vans partnership, helping usher in a revitalization of the SoCal skate originators thanks to its distressed and gem-covered collabs. Following an early preview of a blue colorway of Satoshi’s Vans Era 95 collab back in May, the brand has announced the new shoe will be releasing this weekend at ComplexCon.
Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era 95 Blue Details
Satoshi’s formula that has proven successful on previous Vans collabs, including the Vans Old Skool 36 and Vans Era, continues here as we see the low-cut Vans Era 95 done up in motifs identical to past projects. Like its black-and-white cousin, the blue Satoshi Vans Era 95 features distressed canvas on the toebox, surrounded by multicolored gems and charms, with additional charms on the collar. Friendship bracelet beads find a home on the lowest part of the lacing system, which leads up to the exposed and unfinished collar.
Yellowed and dirty soles below repeat Nakamoto’s name in black across the sidewall, and more branding for Satoshi makes its mark on the insole. Vans’ classic tag is attached on the lateral side of the upper in a black-and-white finish. Finishing the design is the semi-translucent rubber outsole hosting more Satoshi Nakamoto branding.

The Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Era 95 Blue will be released at ComplexCon, which takes place October 3-4, 2026 in Los Angeles. Retail hasn’t been announced, but the last pair was priced at $195, so expect it to remain unchanged.
