The Martine Rose x Nike Air Max Craze is Rumored to Release Fall 2025

High fashion working with sportswear labels has become commonplace in the footwear industry, with many luxury brands and designers teaming up with Nike. Previously, The Swoosh worked with Martine Rose, who brought formalwear to the Nike Shox line through her Shox MR4 and Monarch IV collaborations. Brendan Dunne of Complex has reported that Martine Rose will work with Nike on a new colorway of an archival Nike Air Max model, the Air Max Craze, in Fall 2025.
The Air Max Craze was released in the early 2000s to little fanfare and features an open-back construction supported by a heel counter. As with many designs of this era, it leaned heavily into the tech vibes, as evident with the grid patterns, wavy contours, and chunky sole unit. No color or design details about Martine Rose’s take on the silhouette have been confirmed. If her past projects with Nike are any indication, the sneaker will likely be reshaped and reimagined into a more traditional piece of footwear. On top of this collaborative pair, inline colorways are also expected to be released throughout 2025.
The Martine Rose x Nike Air Max Craze W project is rumored to release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Though there are no images of Martine Roses’ collab, take a look at an OG pair of the Air Max Craze below.
