adidas skateboard team rider Maite Steenhoudt is following up on her Samba ADV collaboration by taking on the adidas Adimatic Mid. Recognized for her exceptional skills on the board and her distinct style, Steenhoudt is the perfect partner for adidas' chunky skate shoe from the '90s.
Steenhoudt’s take on the Adimatic Mid features deep purple suede extending from the mudguard to the midfoot, collar, and tongue. A light blue shade is introduced on another layer of suede encircling the heel and creating an engaging contrast. Purple nylon Three Stripes hold the white laces in place and come in the same shade as the adidas embroidery on the collar. Further branding is visible with Maite's name prominently displayed on the tongue and additional Three Stripes branding located on the heel. The design concludes with a crisp white midsole and a semi-translucent purple outsole.
The Maite Steenhoudt x adidas Adimatic Mid will release September 23, 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Sizing and pricing information is yet to be announced.
