The adidas Adimatic, initially released in the '90s, has been a hidden gem in the world of sneakers. Known for its unique look and skateboard-ready build, the Adimatic has been making a quiet comeback through various limited releases and collaborations over the last few years. While it may not be the best adidas skateboarding silhouette on the market, atmos Tokyo has partnered with adidas to give the Adimatic Low a fresh new look. Now, the Japanese-based retailer is back at it again, this time focusing on the mid-top version of the Adimatic and adding Collegiate Green.
Across the upper sits a premium suede in Collegiate Green hue with contrasting white accents appearing on the Three Stripes branding, laces, and sockliner. More adidas branding, found on the tongue, takes on a black finish atop a white tag, while atmos makes no appearance on the upper. Currently, there are no images of the insole, but we expect to see a co-branded logo similar to previous atmos x adidas collaborations. A crisp white midsole and a classic gum outsole complete the design.
The atmos Tokyo x adidas Adimatic Mid will release on May 13, 2023 through atmos Tokyo and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at ￥14,300 (approx $105 USD).
