LA Streetwear Brand Madhappy Injects Good Vibes into Converse Chuck 70 Collab

Streetwear brands typically have a subculture connection that draws in a certain kind of fan. From the skate background of brands like Supreme and Palace to the golf ethos at Metalwood and the hardcore influence on Babylon LA, the design inspiration from outside of fashion brings new ideas and meaning. For Los Angeles-based Madhappy, the driving force behind the brand is simple: happiness, good vibes, and general positivity. It’s all right there in the name.

For its latest collaboration, Madhappy connects with the OGs in the sneaker space, Converse, for a collection of Chuck Taylors designed to brighten your mood. The Madhappy x Converse Chuck 70 Collection drapes the classic canvas high-top in premium materials and intricate design, arriving in three colors: black, vintage white, and a light blue shade called Thunder Daze.

All three shoes feature a white strip of suede running the vertical length of the heel, with more suede added on a custom Madhappy star adorned to the lateral side of the ankle. The traditional Chuck Taylor circle badge on the medial side of the ankle is also upgraded and turned into a felt patch. More collab branding is added on the foxing tape, with a small Madhappy tag on the lateral side toe.
