Now that we’re in week 8 of the 2025 NFL season, we have come to accept some realities about where our teams are headed. The Jets, for example, know that even with one win on the books, which they FINALLY secured after going 0-7 to start the season, they’re not making the playoffs. Other franchises are also accepting the reality that this… may not be their season. *Cough* Cowboys *cough*.But let’s not focus on the product ON the field, let’s talk about the product worn by the product on the field… off it. It’s Sole Retriever’s latest LOOK GREAT, PLAY GREAT where we go through our starting 11 of the best tunnel fits.
Abdul Carter
New York Giants rookie linebacker has made our list in previous weeks, and has entered the top 11 once again. This time, he wore a pair of cowprint adidas Sambas, joining in on the viral faux animal print trend that has dominated sneaker and fashion circles.
Adam Thielen
When we see Dior Air Jordans, we can’t pass up on highlighting whoever decided to sport them. This week, Vikings WR Adam Thielen was spotted pre-game in the low-top version of the collab. Even at 35 years old (the oldest WR in the league), he’s still able to outshine his peers. Maybe not so much on the field, as he missed both targets during Thursday Night Football.
Amarius Mims
The Cincinnati Bengals being 3-5 isn’t so horrible, unless you take into account that one of those L’s came courtesy of the New York Jets. Before losing to the worst team in the NFL, Amarius Mims laced up a pair of Air Jordan 3s in the White Cement Reimagined colorway.
Bryce Young
When you’re signed to Jordan Brand, you know you’ll always have some high-heat to rock both in and outside of games. Bryce Young knows this all too well as the Jordan Brand athlete was spotted in the original A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 Retro, one of the best sneakers of the decade.
Dayton Wade
Dayton Wade of the Baltimore Ravens made sure his pre-game fit matched his team's colors to a T. He pulled up in a purple Supreme hoodie and wearing a pair of Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Lows. More specifically, the purple pair from the most recent Nike SB Supreme collab.
Evan Anderson
You can’t ignore a classic, and neither can Evan Anderson. The defensive tackle for the 49ers sported an original colorway of the Air Jordan 5, the Grape, before taking the field against the Texans. Even with the new retro of the iconic AJ 5 on his feet pre-game, that wasn’t enough to help the 49ers take the W.
Jalen Ramsey
In the last few weeks, we’ve seen an uptick in players rocking Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Converse sneaker, the Shai 001. For week 8, Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey is the latest NFL star to pay homage to the reigning MVP through his footwear choice, zipping up a pair of the Shai 001s in the Charm Black colorway.
JT Tuimoloau
We don’t really see much ANTA product in the NFL, but JT Tuimoloau decided it was time to lace up a pair. We mean that in every sense of the word as he sported the multi-color overlaced ANTA Hélà Style Roots in the Brown colorway.
Khalil Mack
Nigel Sylvester made headlines over the weekend with a shock drop restock of his Brick by Brick Air Jordan 4, but we can’t forget his second collab of the year on the Air Jordan 1 Low. Though it may not be as strong a contender for sneaker of the year, Khalil Mack agrees it's a fire pair as the Chargers linebacker was spotted rocking them ahead of his matchup with the Vikings.
Mitchell Tinsley
Another Bengals player to make the list and rock a classic Air Jordan, wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley was spotted in the Black Cement Air Jordan 3.
Samaje Perine
Finally, we’ve reached the end of this week’s list, and it's a banger. Running back Samaje Perine, who marks our third Bengals player this week, laced up a fire Air Jordan 5, that being the “What The” colorway, which features elements from pairs like the Tokyo, Raging Bull, Green Bean, Grape, and more.
