LOOK GREAT PLAY GREAT: NFL Week 2’s Best Tunnel Fits
Published
Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season is (almost) in the books. We had some great matchups and nailbiters, like the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants battling it out until the final seconds of overtime. Many of the games were actually within one score (some even one point), making the RedZone experience that much better. However, we’re not here to break down Joe Burrow’s turf toe injury or look at what happened on the gridiron.
Like last week, we’ve rounded up the best tunnel fits from week 2 of the NFL season. Here’s our starting 11 in no particular order, but we have some additional roster spots over on the Sole Retriever Instagram account.
Travis Hunter

Travis didn’t end up on our best tunnel fits list last week, but he did make our best on-field cleats list when he debuted Anthony Edwards’ AE 1 football cleat in warm-ups. However, this week, his choice of the adidas Yeezy 700 MNVN (designed by the legendary Christian Tresser) puts him on our list. However, it’s a bit odd to see one of adidas’ future superstars rocking a pair of sneakers from a partnership that has essentially been “erased” from the company’s history.
Patrick Mahomes

Another adidas athlete has made the list this week, with Patrick Mahomes making his first appearance in this series. He does have his own signature trainer and cleat, but he arrived at the Super Bowl LIX rematch wearing what many have pinned as sneaker of the year, Pharrell Williams’ adidas Adistar Jellyfish. Mahomes sported the ultra-chunky sneaker’s OG colorway, but we just received official imagery of the next two renditions, one in Green and another in Grey.
Lamar Jackson

Making his second appearance on our list for the 2025 NFL season, Lamar Jackson switched from last week’s Vandy The Pink Asics to a Nike SB Dunk Low. More specifically, Jackson channeled his childhood through the Powerpuff Girls Nike SB Dunk Low in the Bubbles colorway.
Kyler Murray

A Nike athlete through and through, Kyler is always rocking high-heat Nike sneakers on and off the field. Last week, he entered our list for wearing the high-top version of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1, but this week he decided to go low. Murray sported an all-white low-top version of the LV AF1.
TJ Watt

Fresh off his recent Abercrombie & Fitch collab, TJ Watt entered the tunnel for the Pittsburgh Steelers wearing a pair of Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack in the OG Sail colorway.
Billy Bowman Jr.

Billy Bowman Jr. played for the Oklahoma Sooners before being selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft, and the school’s Jordan Brand sponsorship seems to have rubbed off on him. Bowman was spotted wearing mismatched Air Jordan 4s, the yellow Thunder colorway on his left foot and the Red Thunder on the right.
Bryce Young

Bryce Young had a much better outing for the Carolina Panthers in week 2 compared to week 1, throwing for 328 yards and notching three touchdown passes in the team’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Last week, his on-field performance was lackluster to say the least, but he did make our list rocking the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shattered Backboard. For week 2, the Jordan Brand athlete entered the stadium with a pair of the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 Retro in the Black Racer Blue colorway.
Byron Murphy

Travis Scott gets a ton of love across the NFL, both in tunnel walks and on the field. Byron Murphy must be a big fan, as the Vikings cornerback was pictured wearing La Flame’s original Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.
Zay Flowers

Another Baltimore Ravens player on the list this week is Zay Flowers. The star wide receiver brought a high-fashion look to his tunnel fit, wearing Pharrell Williams’ viral Louis Vuitton LV Footprint Soccer sneaker in a pink suede colorway. If you want to recreate this look, you’ll have to fork over $1,140 for the kicks.
Tyler Goodson

We’re all looking forward to the new Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Force 1 Low, but Tyler Goodson of the Indianapolis Colts was rocking Abloh’s Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low in the iconic MCA colorway. The all-blue kicks were super limited when they first dropped and now fetch thousands of dollars on the secondary market. However, the upcoming Virgil AF1 is devoid of any Off-White branding.
Orlando Brown

You really don’t find too many Grateful Dead fans from the current generation, but maybe Orlando Brown is a Dead Head. The Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle wore a pair of the band’s Nike SB Dunk Lows in the Green colorway.
Who will make the squad next week? Tune in every Monday to find out!
