Rich Paul’s story is nothing short of amazing. Coming up with LeBron James in Cleveland, Paul turned his personal Entourage storyline into one of the biggest agencies in sports, representing stars across major sports leagues, including Anthony Davis, Jalen Hurts, Rafael Devers, and more. Outside of negotiating deals, he has expanded his portfolio into sportswear, teaming with New Balance for a line of sportswear.
Klutch Athletics has now announced the hire of Scott Munson as President and GM. Munson, a former Nike executive who previously oversaw $4 billion worth of commerce as Nike’s Vice President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific Latin America Men’s business, takes over Klutch Athletics with a goal of growth.
“I’m honored to join Klutch Athletics at such a pivotal moment,” Munson said. “The brand is redefining what it means to empower the next generation of athletes to be their best, and I look forward to working with Rich and the entire team to build a brand that creates intentional product, builds meaningful community, and delivers inspiring experiences—in sport and in life.”
Klutch Athletics has already dropped collaborative shoes with New Balance and pushed into the NIL game, signing youth athletes to sponsorship deals, and for Paul, the addition of Munson is a step forward towards the global stage for the brand.
“We’re excited to welcome Scott to the Klutch Athletics team,” said Rich Paul, Founder and CEO of Klutch Athletics. “Throughout his career, Scott has led large cross-functional teams, managed billion-dollar businesses, and driven innovation in both the performance and lifestyle categories, and he did it on a global scale.”
With Munson at the helm, expect to hear much more from Klutch Athletics soon.
