New Balance’s annual Grey Days celebration is already in full swing, with more than a dozen in-line pairs decked out in versions of NB’s iconic cloudy shade hitting retailers all month long. New Balance fans wait all year for the grey festivities, though, so you knew the Boston-based brand wasn’t going to keep things restricted to standard drops, right? Continuing a set of previews for an upcoming Kith x New Balance collection, a new image of the 992 pair is a perfect match for a Grey Days drop.

Clear paneling is added to the cream midsole for a bit of contrast, and Kith branding is subtle on the lateral side heel, but shines a little brighter in the light, with reflective material added to the co-branded panel and the “N” logo on the side panel.

Alongside this pictured 992, we’ve seen a handful of previews for other Kith Made in USA NBs, including a 990v4 and 990v3, so expect more to be revealed.
