Included in the collection is an NB 990v2 and 990v3 that compliment Kiths FW22 apparel collection.
Ronnie Fieg has been on fire throughout 2022, celebrating 10 years of his Kith label with New Balance, working with Roger Federer for the On Running RF2 collaboration and releasing a slew of Kith Monday Programs that tap into the latest trends. Now previewing the Fall/Winter 2022 capsule with Jerry Seinfeld, two Kith x New Balance 99X silhouettes have been revealed, the 990v2 “Tan” and 990v3 “Steel Blue.”
Starting with the 990v2, the silhouette gets covered in premium suede that takes on a beige khaki tone all throughout the entire upper while the mesh underlay comes in a complimentary tan hue. Cream laces run through the eyestays up the tonal tan tongue to “Made In USA” branding that is embroidered in white. Along the midfoot, the infamous “N” logo gets a grey makeover. Back on the heel, “USA” embroidery sits atop a silver 3M reflective tab, resting between the suede heel overlay. Underfoot, a two-tone white and grey midsole gets paired with a black rubber outsole.
The 990v3 in this capsule calls back to previously released Kith x NB pairs, coming in the classic steel blue and navy color combo. Various suede overlays take the latter of the two shades while the base layer of mesh comes in steel blue. This material and shade continue onto the tongue, home to a set of cream-white laces that stops just below the “New Balance USA” branding in silver and navy. More branding comes via the “N” logo on the midfoot, covered in white with a blue trim while “990” is stamped atop the suede heel overlay. Underfoot, a two-tone white and off-white midsole is paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Kith x New Balance Fall/Winter 2022 Collection is slated to release on September 9th, 2022 through Kith in-store while a drawing on the Kith App for online orders will begin September 8th and have winners drawn on the morning of release.. Coming in men’s sizing, the 990v2 will be available for $200 while the 990v3 retails for $210.
