There’s been a lot of talk about who started the Asics wave lately, but not nearly enough credit given to Kiko Kostadinov. The European design powerhouse has been a staple in-house collaborator at the Japanese brand for years now, and as Asics continues to push further into the mainstream, Kostadinov is still making moves, crafting new silhouettes and colorways every season.
Tabi Toes on Asics Runners
The Kiko Kostadinov x Asics Ilargi FF II Summer 2026 collection features two pairs of an updated take on Kostadinov’s split-toe silhouette with an Asics script logo on the side panel. Debuted in March of this year, the Ilargi FF is a low-profile runner that brings the popular tabi toe style to Asics with rope laces, Kiko branding on the insoles, and leather accents on the structure. This second iteration applies new paneling to the upper, but largely keeps the same look as the original.

Another gradient midsole switches between a light and dark green at the heel.
