Josh Giddey Signs Multi-Year Endorsement Deal with Puma

Puma made its return to the performance basketball space back when they signed LaMelo Ball in 2020, and since then, it’s expanded their roster of athletes to include multiple NBA and WNBA stars. Around a month removed from Tyrese Haliburton, who signed with the brand in October 2024, revealing his signature sneaker with Puma, the German sportswear brand has just signed Josh Giddey to a multi-year deal.
According to Giddey’s representatives, he is set to headline with and become part of Puma’s global portfolio of athletes as they continue to grow the brand and basketball category globally. As mentioned at the start, Puma has only been back in the basketball space for around 5 years, but signature lines with LaMelo Ball, Scoot Henderson, Breanna Stewart, and now Tyrese Haliburton, as well as their own inline sneakers like the All-Pro Nitro, show they’re trying to make headway.

Prior to signing with Puma, Giddey inked a deal with Nike in September 2021, constantly taking the court in Nike Kobe sneakers. The writing was on the wall back in January when Josh took to his Instagram to post that he was “selling a lot” of his Kobe collection, though then we had no idea he was leaving the brand.
If Josh continues to prove a valuable asset to the Chicago Bulls, it’s possible he could even earn a signature sneaker with Puma, though that would be years down the line. For now, expect to see Josh take the court in Puma models and appear in campaigns for the brand.
