Puma Unveils Tyrese Haliburton's Signature Sneaker — The Puma Hali 1
Published
After signing with Puma at the start of the current NBA season, Tyrese Haliburton is already debuting his signature sneaker with the label. Over the last few weeks, Hali teased his sneaker on his social media, unveiled his signature logo, and dropped a t-shirt featuring the aforementioned logo, all gearing up for the full reveal today ahead of game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
Designer Salehe Bembury, who rose to fame thanks to his work with Yeezy and Versace and later through his independent work with New Balance and Crocs, signed a deal with Puma last summer to design the German sportswear brand's next signature sneaker. We now know this was for Tyrese Haliburton.
Design Features of Tyrese Haliburton’s Puma Hali 1

The sneaker features a honeycomb mesh base with TPU reinforcements along the midfoot, two V-shaped toecaps, and an open-spaced mesh and suede-constructed tongue. Puma branding is integrated into the lateral heel through a 3D design, while Hali's signature logo is displayed atop the tongue. Underfoot, the Hali 1's Nitro Foam-cushioned midsole has an organically shaped design that leans right into Salehe Bembury's design language and is quite similar to the Puma running shoe from Bembury.
