JD Sports First Yeezy Slide Drop is Almost Sold Out

Well, if there were any questions on how well received Ye, FKA Kanye West, and his Yeezy brand would be at JD Sports, they’ve been answered. Today marked the first time independent Yeezy footwear was available at a big-box retailer, with JD offering seven different Yeezy Slide colorways, along with the BL-01, AQ-01, and HL-02 models. While there are still sizes in the latter three models, virtually every single Yeezy Slide flew this morning and is now sold out.

Yeezy Drop Crashed the JD Site

Right when the clock turned to 10:00 AM EDT, the JD Sports site began to crash and act funky. It’s all but confirmed that it’s due to the Yeezy drop, as product pages for the Yeezy Slides wouldn’t load for the first few minutes after the clock turned to 10, and errors were coming up when trying to navigate the site. Once that settled, sizes for all of the Yeezy Slides began to sell out, and as of this writing, the only pair left is a size 4 of the white YS-01 slide.

For the other models, we’ve seen some sizes sell out, the BL-01 getting a small restock with sizes coming in and out of stock all morning. For the AQ-01, the aqua rubber shoe that first debuted earlier this year, sizes 13 and above are sold out, and the women’s HL-02 heel is fully in stock.

When is the Next Yeezy Drop at JD Sports?

JD Sports hasn’t confirmed any specific release date for another Yeezy Slide drop, but considering the demand for the release this morning, it’s highly likely they’ll restock pairs as soon as more are available.
