Jaylen Brown is going to be the number one option in Boston this year. With Jayson Tatum on the sidelines recovering from his devastating Achilles injury in the NBA Playoffs, Brown will be responsible for leading the Celtics as far as he can, bringing his All-Star pedigree into the spotlight. With new pressure on Brown, he’s gonna need some new shoes.
Ahead of the NBA season, Brown previewed four new colorways of his 741 Rover signature shoe. Starting with a Celtics colorway called Galactic Green, the pair features a few shades of green, covering the entire upper in forest green, adding a darker green with speckles to the midsole, and a bright, bejeweled green on the protruding bubbles on the toe and side panel. As far as tech specs, the sneaker still retains the dynamic lacing system, a non-stretch arch bandage below the engineered knit upper, and hypergravity critical EVA foam with flex grooves and shock absorption in the midsole.

Brown, who founded and self-funded 741, also previewed three additional Rover colorways set to release for Winter 2026, all mixing shades of magenta, purple, and gold. Brown didn’t let us in on the names for the other three colorways, but did hint that the entire Winter 2026 line would feature space-inspired names like the Galactic Green.
There is no release date set for the 741 Rover Galactic Green or any of the other Winter 2026 colorways, but we would guess that Brown will be wearing them on court before fans can purchase their own pairs.
